Sea Change
Sea Change
The world is melting. After 800,000 years the Arctic ice is vanishing, collapsing into the sea in chunks the size of Manhattan. It could disappear completely within four years.
Sea Change is a work inspired by the water, ice and vapour of our melting world. Imagine the consequences for the humans that inhabit it.

Quotes:
‘a beautiful piece of choreography first and foremost, not too showy, tender and expressive, each moment expressing something about climate change that is hard to put into words’
ALISON TICKELL, Director, Julie’s Bicycle
'The art of climate change has been quite widely encountered and portrayed in different forms in the last few years, particularly in literature and theatre. What there hasn’t been much of though is evocative and skilled dance, and Richard Osborne’s Sea Change certainly fills that gap. The performers move fluidly together throughout and there are some particularly nice sequences of repetition that not only look wonderful, but definitely serve to hammer their point home. '
